This contemporary garden design pairs yellow limestone paving with a circular turf lawn and multi-texture raised beds for maximum contrast.

To transform the sloping site into a uniform, family-friendly space, we excavated the garden and cleared old outbuildings, concrete bases, and decaying decking. We repaired the existing block-built shed, updating it with a new fiberglass roof and timber cladding to conceal the blockwork. For a more durable boundary, we replaced the old fencing with concrete posts and plinth timber panels.

The new layout features a spacious limestone patio surrounding a soft, circular central lawn. For structural variety, we added timber sleeper raised beds for growing vegetables and herbs, alongside an L-shaped bed built with Kilsaran Connemara walling, planted with herbaceous perennials for seasonal color.
