A new roll out turf lawn with brick mowing edge (the existing lawn was poor , uneven and sloping) a light coloured gravel mulch on surrounding perennial beds for low maintenance and bright decorative finish. Standard trees were planted adjacent to the rear boundary wall to create seclusion and screening . A circular central paved area with box hedging in the centre of the garden was constructed to mark the transition and joining of the paths to the shed, house and patio areas. A raised sleeper bed with lavender planting that can be grown as a low hedge was constructed adjacent to the existing raised patio edge to mark the edge of the patio .
