New terraced garden with gravel surfacing, limestone paving

Sloping garden such as this one was can be difficult to maintain trying to cut the lawn. So it  was redesigned as a low maintenance garden with terraces and incorporates a new Yellow Limestone patio area, raised beds and stepping stones. Gravel surfacing links the two levels of the garden with Yellow Limestone stepping stones also . It has a rustic garden style with a mix of elements such as limestone paving, sandstone cobbles, gravel and charcoal kerb edging for the beds and terracing retaining wall. Working closely with our client to design the garden to his taste and style we using different elements such as stone gravel and soft planting to unite the space . Our client had researched some inspirational garden images and styles he liked which we tried to replicate .The new turf lawn is far easier to cut now as d the gradient of the slope was reduced by introducing two levels (terracing) to  the garden. With less lawn space there is also less grass clipping to remove and is now a weed free & lush.!
