This is a gravel driveway we restored in Balrath ,co. Meath by re-gravelling it with a Lite gold coloured decorative gravel stone .The previous driveway was tired ,worn and uneven an become dirty with time. We restored the driveway by scraping the existing driveway to remove the existing dirty gravel and detritus and  weeds that were present. Then we hardcored the base to make it firm for traffic and blinded the surface with an underlay crushed stone before gravelling with a lite gold gravel to prevent the movement of the gravel to the sub layer and hardcore transitioning upwards to mix with the gravel. The gravel complements this mature garden and architecture of this lovely setting very well.
